Anycubic ACE 2 Pro for Kobra X / Kobra S1 / Kobra S1 Max
An intelligent system for multi-colour 3D printing, automatic filament feeding, active drying at temperatures up to 65 °C, and protection of the material against moisture.
Anycubic ACE 2 Pro expands the capabilities of compatible 3D printers by enabling automated operation with up to four filaments simultaneously.
This variant is designed for the Anycubic Kobra X, Kobra S1, and Kobra S1 Max. The system uses four independent brushless motors and a new filament feeding and retraction design that ensures smooth material switching between individual channels.
ACE 2 Pro also functions as an enclosed system for filament storage and active drying. It allows the material to be dried at temperatures up to 65 °C, even during printing.
Integrated sensors monitor the temperature and humidity inside the chamber, an electromagnetic valve actively removes moisture, and a silicone seal limits the ingress of moisture from the surrounding environment.

SMOOTH AND FAST FILAMENT FEEDING
ACE 2 Pro uses four separate brushless motors, giving each channel its own drive. Together with the new-generation buffering mechanism, they ensure smooth filament feeding and retraction.
The feeding speed reaches up to 50 mm/s. According to Anycubic laboratory data, ACE 2 Pro therefore achieves a filament change time of approximately 56 seconds, while the previous ACE Pro, with a speed of 25 mm/s, required approximately 84 seconds.
The manufacturer notes that the filament change time may change with future firmware updates.

QUIET AND DURABLE BRUSHLESS MOTORS
The four brushless motors are designed for long-term operation, with a declared service life of at least 5,000 hours.
The noise level is 48 dB when printing with the cover closed and 55 dB when printing with drying enabled, measured from a distance of 1 metre in front of the printer.

ACTIVE DRYING AT TEMPERATURES UP TO 65 °C
The integrated system enables active filament drying at temperatures up to 65 °C. Drying can take place simultaneously with printing, so there is no need to remove and dry the filament separately before starting a print.
The system is suitable for drying PLA, PETG, and PVB. Drying is supported for ASA, ABS, PET, PA, PC, PP, BVOH, POM, HIPS, and fibre-reinforced filaments, but is not optimal.

ACTIVE MOISTURE PROTECTION
ACE 2 Pro combines several features to keep filament in a dry environment. Integrated sensors monitor the temperature and humidity inside the chamber in real time, an electromagnetic valve actively removes moisture, and a silicone seal limits the ingress of ambient moisture.
Temperature and humidity information can be viewed in the app, slicer, and on the printer display.

DURABLE CERAMIC FILAMENT INLETS
The points where the filament enters the system are made of alumina ceramic. Compared with conventional plastic inlets, this material offers greater resistance to abrasion, which is particularly important during long-term and intensive use.

INTELLIGENT FILAMENT MANAGEMENT
ACE 2 Pro supports estimation of the remaining filament amount, filament runout detection, and automatic continuation with replacement filament using preset colour and material profiles.
With proprietary Anycubic filaments, the system can automatically recognise the material parameters. This function requires an internet connection and compatible Anycubic filament.

MULTI-COLOUR PRINTING
One ACE 2 Pro allows you to work with up to four filaments. To expand the system to support up to 16-colour printing, multiple ACE 2 Pro units must be combined. The number of supported colours depends on the specific printer model and system configuration.
